“Willing to Go to War”: Tyler Reed Ready for Heavyweight Clash at Ragin FC
“I’m willing to go to war. I’m willing to put it on the line,” says Tyler Reed, the #5-ranked amateur heavyweight in Louisiana. “And that fight right there is worth your money and worth you going to see.”
Reed, fighting out of Lake Charles with a 2-0 record, is set to throw down on June 14 at Ragin FC in one of the most anticipated heavyweight bouts on the card. He’ll face James Miller (2-1), a heavy hitter from Porterville, California, who’s also shown a knack for quick finishes.
“June 14th, it’s gonna be an awesome card, a crazy event,” Reed says. “I’m fighting a guy who fought on RFC 1—we both finished our opponents pretty quickly. So not only my fight, but they got some bangers on this card, and it’s gonna be well worth your money.”
For Reed, training is about more than just getting his hand raised. It’s part of something bigger.
“I train because every day when I wake up, you know—it’s a blessing to be able to challenge myself,” he explains. “It’s an opportunity for me to grow as a person, a father, a husband.”
As he prepares for another test inside the cage, Reed promises fans a battle that delivers—and a performance that reflects everything he fights for.
