“Kill or Be Killed”: Justice Torres Ready to Go to War at Fury FC 105

HOUSTON – “Man, it’s a dog-eat-dog world. Kill or be killed,” says Justice Torres, the #8-ranked professional featherweight in the U.S. Southwest region. “We’re pushing the pace and just hard work only. I’m trying to be one of the greats. I want to put our gym on the map for real.”

On June 22 at Fury FC 105, Torres steps into the cage against Shane Torres, the #45-ranked bantamweight in the region. While it’s not the first time their teams have crossed paths, this is Justice’s chance to handle business personally.

“I’ve seen him fight actually—a couple of my teammates,” he says. “A former teammate, Cameron Smotherman, and then he’s fought my other teammate Carlos [Jimenez].”

Torres expects Shane to bring pressure but makes it clear he’s ready. “He looks like a grappler. Moves forward,” he says. “Just be ready to fight, ‘cause I’m coming.”

After building his career under the Fury banner, Torres speaks highly of the promotion and his growth alongside it. “Fighting with Fury has been actually pretty dope,” he says. “I’ve been with them all the way from my amateur to now, so it’s been awesome.”

With fight night approaching, Torres takes a moment to recognize the people behind the scenes. “I just wanna say a special shout out to my team,” he says. “That’s all—everyone that’s helped me get ready. So yeah, let’s just go. June 22—I’m ready.”

Fury FC 105 takes place on Sunday, June 22nd, 2025, and can be viewed on UFC Fight Pass, or in-person at Imagen Venues in Houston, Texas - get your tickets at furyfc.tv/tickets
