“All In”: Andrew Lavergne Fights for Gold at Ragin FC Featherweight Championship

We like to fight. I’m in this forever,” says Andrew Lavergne, a rising featherweight out of Lafayette, Louisiana. “I’m all in. I’ve been all in.”

Lavergne, the #16-ranked amateur featherweight in Louisiana with a 2-1 record, is set to fight for the Ragin FC Featherweight Championship on June 14 in a high-stakes clash against Timothy Ferris, who holds an identical 2-1 record and is ranked #21 in the state.

For Lavergne, this isn’t just another fight—it’s a step toward something much bigger.

“The goal is to go to the top. That’s gold,” he says. “The first day I walked in the gym, I knew this is what I wanted to do. It’s not easy, but that’s why I love it so much.”

That love for the sport runs deep, fueled by the grind and the brotherhood around him. “It’s a way of life. It’s not just a sport, it’s not just a fight,” Lavergne explains. “My teammates—they’re here every day helping me get better. Helping each other get better.”

Now, with a belt on the line and his future in front of him, Lavergne is ready to prove that being “all in” is more than just talk—it’s the foundation of a champion.
